Meet Michael
Michael Austin is a chiropractor driven by one core belief: when the body functions well, people are better equipped to move through life with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Nothing inspires him more than witnessing patients emerge from challenging periods of their lives and regain the capacity to pursue the goals that matter most to them—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Michael has seen the profound impact of chiropractic care across individuals, families, and entire communities. From young children to the elderly, from acute presentations to long-standing chronic conditions, he works with people experiencing concerns ranging from neck, back, shoulder, knee, hand, and foot issues to headaches, sleep disturbances, and difficulties with focus. His approach extends well beyond symptom relief; he is deeply invested in improving overall function, biomechanics, and nervous system communication so patients can experience lasting health and resilience.
A particular area of interest for Michael is gentle, neurologically focused care. He frequently utilises the ArthroStim adjustment instrument, which delivers precise, controlled inputs to the spine and nervous system without placing the body under stress. This approach allows for comfortable and effective care, particularly for those who may be sensitive to manual adjustments. In addition, Michael has observed remarkable outcomes through the use of infrared light therapy alone, including enhanced neurological awareness and restored communication pathways within the body—underscoring his belief that the nervous system plays a central role in healing and adaptation.
Michael began his formal chiropractic education at Macquarie University in 2015, though his connection to chiropractic care dates back more than two decades as a patient himself. These early experiences shaped his understanding of the value of consistent, thoughtful care and continue to inform the empathy and perspective he brings to his practice today.
In early 2020, Michael joined the Greentree Chiropractic team, where he now balances guiding patients through their individual health journeys with a full and energetic family life. Outside the practice, he is most often found with his wife and their two young sons—whether wrestling at home, carrying one (or two) children on his shoulders, or spending time at parks and backyard barbecues. Living in a season surrounded by babies, toddlers, and growing families keeps Michael grounded, active, and deeply connected to the community he serves.
Through attentive care, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to long-term wellbeing, Michael is dedicated to helping patients live their best lives in their best health.
